With the release of the Samsung F series, M series, and most popular A series, Samsung becomes more popular in Indian markets. Samsungs Owns around 20 to 25% Smartphone Market in India. Samsung’s Galaxy A52 was One of the most selling Smartphones In India last year [2021].
Now In 2022 Once Again Samsung Comes With A New Smartphone Samsung Galaxy A53. It is a 5G phone that tries to balance flagship and mid-range phones.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy A53 has risen significantly compared to last year’s model, Samsung Galaxy A52. It starts at Rs 34499 while A52 was around Rs 25000. So Almost 10000 Rs Hike Which is Huge Amount in the Indian market.
Whenever I evaluate a smartphone, I consider how much value it adds to my life. I would rather not recommend a phone that costs over a lakh if it does not improve my experience in any way. It’s not Samsung’s top-line smartphone, but it’s still pretty interesting given the price.
According to the specifications, It is not the best Phone to select. This is because if you are spending more than 30000 Rs. You need a device that is unique and powerful. But yes there are still Good Things about this phone. So Let’s Get Started.

The best thing about this phone is Samsung’s 120 Hz Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O -display. 120 Hz Makes the display super smooth to Navigate. The Ui and animations are silky smooth. In common with Samsung phones, this device has an AMOLED display, which is colorful, rich, detailed, and beautiful.
Galaxy A52 has a 700 nits brightness whereas Galaxy A53 has an 800 Nits display which is a good improvement. Brightness is very good even in sunlight you can see the display clearly.
This Phone has the same display which is used in Samsung’s S-series Phones. And we already know that these displays are one of the best displays on the market.
Even the edge is very small around the display. It has an 85.4% screen-to-body ratio which is amazing. It comes with an Infinity-O display which looks good.

This Phone Comes with Exynos 1280 which is based on a 5nm Processor. This is a mid-range processor. Exynos 1280 provides a similar performance to the Snapdragon 765-G. The Snapdragon 765-G Processor starts coming in phones at around 25000.
The Phone is super responsive and smooth. Apps are opening fast and Multitasking like switching between apps is also very fast. It can be slowed down if we do some high-Performance tasks otherwise it’s pretty smooth.
At the same price this phone is coming, you can get the Snapdragon 860, 870 at the same price, and some brands even offer Snapdragon 888 which is more powerful than Exynos 1280.
Samsung has not Made it for a performance-centric audience. But Still, I say it’s a Good Phone because the experience you get with this phone is the same as that of a flagship phone.
There is also Ram Plus Technology in this Phone using Which you can add up to 8 Gb Ram. This means if you Bought an 8 Gb Ram phone you using Ram Plus Technology you can add another 8 Gb, Ram. So in total, you can get 16 Gb Ram which is Amazing.
This phone comes with 2 Ram options 6 Gb and 8 Gb Ram with 128 Gb Storage. You can choose according to your Usage. But still, if 128 Gb Of storage is not enough for you then the device also features a MicroSD card slot.

This Phone comes with Hybrid Sim Tray using which we can use 2 Nano sims or 1 sim and an SD Card to increase the storage. And also, the Phone is missing a headphone, Jack.
Last year’s Samsung A52 and A72 had a headphone jack. However, Samsung improved its battery capacity this year. And it snatched the place of the headphone jack.
If we talk about biometrics then it has a built-in Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor Which is very fast and accurate. And also Face Unlock works very well.
There is a recent trend of not including a charger in the box. Yes, you guessed it right, this phone does not include a wall charger in the box. Even if you are paying 35,000, you will have to pay some extra money to obtain a charger.
If we talk about the audio then this phone comes with dual stereo speakers and built-in Dolby Atmos. Which sounds amazing, overall this Phone is Good for multimedia lovers with an amazing screen and sound.

Macro Camera -Rear | 5-megapixel (f/2.4) |

Samsung Galaxy A53 Comes with a Quad camera setup with an amazing design. There are 64 Megapixels of Primary Camera with Built-in OIS. And a 12 Megapixels Ultra wide-angle lens and two 5 Megapixels Macro and Depth Camera.
This phone comes with Built-in OIS in the rear camera which is work like a gimbal and gives video stabilization while recording a video.
It has a 32MP Front Camera which also shoots 4k video at 30fps. Compare to last year’s model new camera has a good improvement in Night Photography and AI-powered portrait Shots.
This phone has almost the same camera app which comes in S-series Phones. But yes you can not get the detailed and clear photos that you can get in the Samsung galaxy s22 ultra. You can use Snapchat’s filter directly in the camera app.
I can say the average Camera Phone which you can expect in this price range. Ultra-wide Camera is amazing but you can not get as much detail as you get in a 64Mp primary camera. Selfie shots are decent and video shots are amazing just because of OIS.
My general impression of the quality of the pictures was positive, although I felt that the more expensive Galaxy S21 FE and iPhone SE did a better job with color and lighting.
7. Os and Security
Operating System | One UI 4.1 |
Android | Android 12 |
Software Updates | 4 years Os updates 5 years of security Updates |
Although the Samsung Galaxy A53 runs Android 12, it also features Samsung’s one-of One UI 4.1 software, which is an Android-based interface.
Samsung has provided an assurance that these phones will receive security updates for five years and Android updates for a period of four years. Basically, that makes this phone future-proof.
This is the biggest Positive for Samsung. When it comes to software updates, no one else provides this kind of service.
This is the latest software from Google and Samsung, which ships with the Galaxy S22. Additionally, Samsung has refined its system-wide features such as more sophisticated widgets, new options to customize themes and color palettes, as well as a more intuitive camera interface, and enhanced privacy controls.
8. Gaming
BGMI | Up to HD settings, No HDR or Ultra Hd |
COD | Up to high settings |
As I was observing, most game enthusiasts use mid-range smartphones because these devices provide the best gaming experience. But When come to this phone I can say an average Gaming phone.
There is no doubt that the display on this device is among the best, but the processing and gaming graphics are not top of the notch which you can get on other devices at the same price.
We played the games Like BGMI and COD For testing the Processing and Graphics Performance and the result is the same as described in the table. We can’t play BGMI in HDR and Ultra HD Settings. I think this is one of the biggest issues with this phone.
Additionally, I would like to point out that the display on this device is among the best in its class. You can feel Motions and Movements like display actions are happening in front of you.
9. Battery
Battery | Lithium Polymer 5000 mAh |
Charging | Supports 25watt Fast Charging |
Other | Charger is not included in the box |
Samsung Galaxy A53 has good battery life as we use this phone for taking images, and videos, and playing games. You will not believe it when we started using this phone at that time battery was 92% charged and when we complete all our tasks it remains at 45%. Which is Quite Impressive.
But also there is another negative point about this device is that it does not come with a charger. Which I think Samsung should provide at this Price.
10. Benchmark
Geekbench Score | Single Core: 687 Multi-Core: 2058 |
Antutu Benchmark | 379140 |
11. Samsung Galaxy A53 Prices
